Girl in the Red Jumper

Girl in the Red Jumper

We are all born into different circumstances - some good, some not so good. As children, we trust those who have a duty of care for us, believing we will be loved, nurtured, and supported to flourish.

Unfortunately, sometimes we are not.

The girl in the red jumper was one of those children.

She returns as her older self, dressed in deep emerald green - connected to nature. She reminds her younger self that life will pass her by if she does not rely on her own instincts and strengths. She can and will create a beautiful, bright, and colourful pathway for herself, but to do so, she must let go of unworthy thoughts and leap with courage.

She is worthy of everything she creates, and the most important person to love her is herself.

In this piece, a green grasshopper is positioned near her, symbolising the courage to leap. She already holds everything she needs within herself to create a sparkling life path. She just needs to be brave - to leap like the grasshopper.

The creatures flowing through her radiant pathway represent the joy, strength, capabilities, love, knowledge, understanding, and renewal she will gain as she grows.

Leap with courage, and don’t let life pass you by.
