Twilight Night

Twilight Night

Twilight Night was created after a man from Queensland got in contact with me and asked if I would paint something for his wife’s birthday. I thought it was only fitting to depict him in the painting too and celebrate them as a couple. It was a story of love.

It’s a colourful, golden and romantic piece full of love, connection and companionship. It shows this couple enjoying a night out watching the stars and creating everlasting memories.

Water birds are included to remind this couple to embrace each other's unconditional love and enjoy their life without expectation. To love one another for who they are and not what you expect them to be is the greatest gift you can give someone.

The shooting stars are memories; the ones they both treasure the most and the ones yet to happen. A shooting star is a split second of beauty, but a memory of its sparkle can last a lifetime.

Red flying fish, jumping all around this couple, symbolise deep, emotional connection and the passion shared between two people.

Butterflies represent transformation. They are a reminder to always support each other with every change that may happen in their lives. Their vibrant colours remind them to stay true to who they are as individuals, to remember how strong they are together, and to love unconditionally.

If you haven’t yet noticed while reading this, I’m a hopeless romantic.
